Visits to Father Christmas

Yep, we've done it every year since she was two. Same tee shirt too, only we forgot to remove the windcheater in 2005. She should get one more year out of it, we reckon.

By then she might be too big for the shirt and much too big for a visit to the jolly man in red.

Ho Hum...

Hope 2005's Santa has had his rosacea treated...

  2. Cute :-)
Is windcheater an Australian term? I don't think I've ever heard that... We've got sweatshirts and windbreakers, but I've never known any Minnesotans to sport a windcheater :-)

Did you know that Santa didn't sport a red suit until 1931, I think that's what year I read, when the famous old Coca-Cola santa painting was issued? He's worn red ever since... at least, if my source was correct ;-)

Oh, the things a restless night of researching random facts will teach ya :-)

  3. Hi Alison,
Yes, a windcheater is an Aussie sweatshirt. In the UK a windcheater is a ski jacket, I think!

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
