Novel book storage

Image from here. Idea from here.

So, do you think this'd look good in the study? I'd need to put lots of colour-coordinated cushions on it, of course.

Alternately, I could use it as an exercise wheel like the ones hamsters use...

...

...Nah.

  1. How cool is that? I love it! I'm trying to think where I could put it in my house!

    Loved it!

Hey, I'm going to try to click on it again, but I was unable to open your post about Vietnam. (this has happened to me a couple of times with your blog....I can read it in my Google reader, but I am unable to open when I want to comment....don't know if it is your site or my reader that is the problem...just thought I'd let you know!)

As for 'Nam....I remember in college learning about the Vietnam war - for the first time! We were never taught it in school - and I think that is more the norm than not in the states. I really believe the Vietnamese used tactics like the Americans did in our Revolutionary war. They just wanted to be left alone by outsiders just as we did by the British. Honestly, I look at that war as a very very sad war. So many lives lost....and for what?

Hope you have a wonderful day!

  2. Creative and different! Where would you put it in your study?

  3. Nowhere, really...except in my imagination. Maybe in the corner of the kitchen sitting area?

What about you, Sarah - would you have room?

  4. We would definately NOT fit it here! We could use the lenth of the hall way as the turning circle I guess. A great storage idea, but not easy to select the book furthest from the floor at any given time. Very good fun for circus routines!

  5. Hi Jeanne,
We have room for it here, and my husband said that it would be easy to make! :)

    Have a wonderful week,
    Love and blessings, Jillian ♥

  7. I want one! But yeah, I'd have to wait until the kids move out. They would smoosh Abbie flat with that.

  8. Did you mean that pun?! I don't know about the book case but you would certainly fit in at our house.

  9. Yep, big on 'novel' puns 'round' here today.

  10. oh I love how it looks... not super practical though I guess. I was thinking how it would be a very nice place to sit and read... but then again I guess only if it were actually stationary otherwise it would give one that little flutter in the tummy when leaning back and it keeps rolling. Yikes. I can picture it now.

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
