Well - it's amazing what I'm learning in Grade Three!! This morning I thought a Red Shift was a terrific fantasy novel by Alan Garner. Now I know better. So does Jemimah, and she's only eight.Gotta love Ambleside Online.
lol Red Shift *is* a pretty awesome novel by Alan Garner!
hahaha...when I was a girl a red shift was a sleeveless dress, coloured red!
ahem - you mean Grade Four not Three? :)
Victoria is a bit funny like that. Jemimah is in Year 4 but in 'Grade 3'. Ask Ron!
I do hope that wasn't Madam How.
Don't think Kingsley knew about red shifts - not even Ruby's sort!!!
oh really! Didn't know that, that's weird, not that I mean Victorians are weird:) I will have to check with my Victorian husband but then again he did leave school a long...time ago:)
noted your prayers of the Sudan - what about near to home?????? Even a new school term needs interruption of the trauma these fellow Australians are enduring
hmmm...I don't recall that one. I'll have to check into it. Still praying about the flooding.
I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
