Oops lost this post

Oops looks like I've lost this post. I've been trying out mobile blogging apps and it looks like a terrible mistake.

Sigh.

  1. Sounds like a full weekend! I think your movie theatre looks amazing too! We will be cheering on our crew in 6 games of soccer (not including the games our older 2 Ref!) and coming home to collapse in a heap. :) Sunday looks full too with church, plus friends over for lunch and a hit of tennis. Here's hoping the weather is fine! Mel x

  2. That will be a lovely mother/ daughter outing. Not much happening here but I will be visiting my parents as always on Saturday. They are set to move into the hostel in the next week or so, therefore we will be moving and removing bits and pieces. Glorious weather here at the moment. Have a great weekend!

  3. Hi Jeanne! Have a lovely time with your dear mum. I wish I could hear her testimony. The grand re-opening sounds exciting, too! We are set for a quiet weekend; the only thing on the agenda besides Sunday worship is our Scout meeting Sunday afternoon. Safe travels!

  4. I love hanging out with my mom or sisters! I'm jealous! And at a women's gathering too...how nice. We are just going to be around home, hubby is off to our farmland to begin planting his oats, kids & I will be hanging around here with the new kittens, a good book, popcorn, & hot chocolate. :) Sunday is church and my BIL & his fiance over for lunch. Which reminds me! I must think of something to feed them! ;) Off to check the cupboards & freezer...

    Happy Weekend, Jeanne!

  5. Have a great weekend! Enjoying being home with my family is the plan for me (two weekends ago was our 'separation' time).

  6. One of these days I'll have to come visiting. My mum is in Geelong too. :) Can't be this weekend though - we're moving out of kitchen smash-up and into kitchen fix-up.

One day soon something nice is gonna happen....I'll have a lovely place to make food for my family :)

  9. I would also love to raise chickens, have a goat, make my own soap, butter, you name it. I was sentimental about hanging laundry out to dry. That is until we started having electrical problems everytime we used the dryer and had to line dry for the entire summer. As sentimental as I am about being a homesteading type mom, if I actually lived that way all the time, I'm sure the charm would wear off rather quickly for me. I don't think the thrill of traveling would ever wear off. How wonderful for your daughter to learn about these places by actually seeing them firsthand and speaking to the people.

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
