Doulos Down Under

The MV Doulos is in Geelong and on Saturday we made a tour!

The oldest ocean-going passenger ship is staffed by an international crew of 330 Christian volunteers from 50 nations, and also hosts the world's largest floating bookshop.

Doulos is part of OM International, which exists to recruit, equip and send God's people in partnership with the Church, to proclaim Christ to the world.

It was cold, windy and miserable, but we had a wonderful day! The boys loved the engine room; the girls loved the books! I was delighted to get hold of a copy of Window on the World by Daphne Spragget and Jill Johnstone for AUD $10.50! I had been looking for this book for quite some time, but the best price I had found was AUD $22.95, so this was a fantastic deal!!

After our tour we ate biscuits in the International Cafe - in its indoor venue - the deck was not so inviting in the rain! We had a great time!

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
