Creswick Regional Park

We were away in the Central Victorian town of Creswick for the weekend, allowing us to make the scenic St Georges Lake in Creswick Regional Park the venue for our nature walk on Saturday. The lake was once a mining dam used to supply water to the Creswick State Battery for crushing quartz and is a great place to watch water birds.
Alas we didn't catch sight of the elusive platypus, but we did have a peaceful day!

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
