Flood progress report

Thought you might like to take a look at the water. Pretty impressive, isn't it?

I'm glad to say that so far there is no danger to homes, although my hubby has just had to cancel this afternoon's journey out of town because the road was closed.

Thanks for all of your prayers.

PS My phone takes a pretty decent pic, doesn't it?

  1. Reminds me of the chapter In Which Piglet is Entirely Surrounded By Water and imagines himself having a conversation with Pooh:

"...and really, it wasn't much good having anything exciting like floods, if you couldn't share them with somebody."

Though I'm afraid I can't come by on "The Floating Bear" we can and will pray. You and yours be safe and I'll check back for an update.

  4. Can't believe it's flooding again already. It has been forecast for a wet summer.I'm sure you've got plenty toi keep you busy if you get flooded in. Our home was flooded 3 years ago when I went into labour with Faith and had to be canoed to a neighbours place to borrow their car to go to hospital!Good times, good times.

  8. A bit wet. After enjoying months of rain, I have to admit, I am a bit over it! All this week it will be wet - all I can say is "where is summer"?

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
