Growing up

Today my daughter had a haircut. She's done this to me before, a couple of times, and I take it as a personal affront. She does this solely to traumatise her mother. This is true. I know it.

She is not allowed to grow up so quickly. It just is not right. Next thing I know she'll be 18 and heading off to University or getting married or something equally unimaginable.

Can somebody pass the chocolate? Please?

  3. When they are grown up you can enjoy their company in a different way and it is just as good!

  4. I can't convince my girl to go to the hairdresser! There was an 18 year old at work today planning her honeymoon - too young! Uni, I can cope with!

  6. Big kids are wonderful too. The conversations get deeper & the love grows bigger.

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
