Happy 90th birthday

Sometimes Disney does something very right, and this is one of these times. This new story, written to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth (and Winnie the Pooh, incidentally), is just delightful, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

If you're the kind of family that needs to read the book before watching the movie, you can do that, too - here it is free!
So from a forest far away, for your special day, We’re sending you some quiet and a little time to play.

  2. hi Jeanne, this is why I frequent your blog, even though we have finished homeschooling, so impressed with Disney doing this and then making it available in this way. Please continue posting you haven't been around much this year, and for people like us who want to be inspried but don't do social media you are one of our favourites. thanks grace

  3. Other than the photos by Annie Liebovitz, this is my favorite of the Queen's 90th birthday celebration. I wish Julian would do something like this, with Princess Elizabeth coming to stay in the nursery at Downton. Sybie, George and Marigold could oooo and ahhh over the new baby and Robert could say stupid things like "well, she'll never be Queen, of course."

I'd love you to leave me a message. Tell me what you like - and what you don't. Just remember that this is what we do in our family - it doesn't have to be what you do in yours...
